Overview

History

1953
Since 1953, Glico ice cream was sold in Japan. There is a deep history behind the popularity of Glico ice cream.
1963
“Glico Cone” was modeled after a Jet plane was created.
1975
Papico was launched.
It has two rocket shaped containers connected to each other.
1978
“Pannap” is designed for young women with the design of fruit jam in a slim cup.
1980
A mini-sized cone ice cream “Rincle” has been launched to
entertain customers with small bites of different tastes in one box.
1983
"Pattyna”, a hexagon shaped ice cream with syrup inside
was launched. The ice cream was in a transparent container, which looked like a crystal!
1986
“Candy Ball - Ice no Mi” an innovative ice cream presented
a new way to enjoy ice cream. It is small enough to pop it into your mouth.
2015
Glico froxen was established on June 5, 2015.
2016
27 January 2016, launched 4 brands;
Palitte, Panapp, Giant Cone, Seventeen Ice.
Now
Over the 60 years, Glico has continued to release many outstanding products to the market.
