JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Creative & Design Manager leads the end-to-end creative vision and design strategy across brands in the region, serving as the strategic bridge between brand building, product development, packaging, and digital retail experiences, with a strong focus on evolving consumer needs.
This role elevates design from execution to a strategic growth driver, partnering closely with Marketing, Commercial, and external partners to translate brand strategy into impactful, high-quality creative across all consumer touchpoints. This role drives business impact through creative excellence, innovation, and scalable execution across markets, embedding experimentation, leveraging emerging creative technologies, and ensuring strong regional consistency balanced with local relevance.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative thinking and Ideation
- Advanced divergent and convergent thinking; rapid concepting under constraints.
- Strong storytelling instincts; ability to craft a single insight into multi-channel executions.
- Curiosity and cultural fluency for spotting trends, subcultures, and unexpected inspiration.
- Drive a culture of innovation by introducing new creative approaches, tools, and technologies to enhance design effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead experimentation through rapid testing (e.g., A/B testing, pilot programs), and scale successful creative ideas across markets.
- Champion the adoption and application of emerging creative technologies, including generative AI, interactive formats, and data-driven personalization, to future-proof design capabilities.
- Continuously stay ahead of design, packaging, and consumer experience trends, translating insights into actionable creative strategies.
- Benchmark against industry best practices to continuously raise design standards and strengthen competitive positioning
Design Leadership, Craft Excellence & Innovation
- Lead and oversee the development of all regional and local creative assets from concept to final execution- ensuring strong alignment to brand strategy and business objectives.
- Demonstrate deep visual and craft expertise, with a strong command of composition, colour theory, typography, photography, motion, and interaction design, elevating the overall quality of creative output.
- Maintain excellence in packaging design, including materials, colour accuracy, and print quality, ensuring consistency and premium execution across markets.
- Ensure rigorous quality control and localization oversight, balancing global brand consistency with local market nuances across ASEAN.
- Deliver high-impact creative solutions across campaigns, digital, social, retail, and experiential touchpoints, supported by a strong concept-to-execution portfolio.
- Leverage design and prototyping tools effectively, with a strong understanding of production pipelines, to ensure both creative excellence and execution feasibility.
- Ensure strong alignment across markets on brand guidelines, visual standards, and creative execution to drive consistency and scalability.
- Deliver high-impact creative solutions across campaigns, digital, social, retail, and experiential touchpoints, supported by a strong concept-to-execution portfolio.

- Drive productivity and continuous improvement in service, resource optimization, new product development, costs and efficiency.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS in Graphic Design or similar discipline required.
- 8–12 years in creative/design roles, with regional exposure preferred
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates design mastery in graphic design and brand identity: creative excellence, storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery.
- Independent thinker who can inspire, generate and bring to new ideas to life.
- Strong communication skills, written, verbal and visual, with the ability to justify your conceptional and directional design choices.
- Strong collaboration and interdependence skills both within design and multi-functional partners.
- Experience implementing or experimenting with new creative technologies (AR/VR, generative AI, interactive formats, data-driven personalization).
- Able to set up rapid experimentation (A/B tests, pilot programs) and scaling successful creative ideas.
- Software fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Flexibility in an environment of constant change.
- Ability to focus externally on trends and the competitive landscape of the business.
