On February 11, 2022, the Glico Group marked the centennial anniversary of its founding.
On February 11, 1922, the nutritious confection “Glico Caramel,” born from a firm belief in enhancing people’s health through food espoused by the founder of the Glico, EZAKI Ri-ichi, was introduced into the marketplace. Since then, Glico has created numerous products embodying the corporate purpose “Healthier days, Wellbeing for life,” including the low-carb SUNAO series, and Almond Koka which supports health and beauty in daily life.
Experiences and activities (achievements) founded upon our corporate philosophy over the past 100 years, will form the cornerstone of our contribution to the lives of people of all generations from everywhere through food toward the next 100 years.
