As a production supervisor in Thai Glico, Mint's responsibility is to control production to match sales targets while ensuring that quality is maintained.
Besides monitoring production outputs everyday, Mint has to devise ways to improve the production process in order to increase overall efficiency and quality of products. Another crucial part of his work is to ensure the safety of production workers in the factory.
With Mint's commitment to his role and endeavors, it ensures that consumers get their fix of Pocky!
Frank discussions can lead to great solutions
Mint recalls that one of his very first projects was producing a new product.
During their initial test of the production, problems surfaced. To resolve these issues, every department offered up different opinions and options for review, and Mint even seeked out the advice of R&D members and other production team members to come up with ideas.
Mint believes that the open-mindedness of every team member, regardless of their department, played a huge part in helping find the ideal solution to the problems they faced, and trusts that putting their heads together for a common goal is the way forward in Glico.
